    just sent gas tank to renu. pulled out sending unit very rusty and stuck i suppose the rusty rheostat made the gas gauge read full all the time. i read that napa has a 12 v replacement , iwould like to keep the stock gauge though. any sugestions? thanks

    If you are keeping the stock gauge you must use the stock sending unit as it has a bizarre scale....compared to anything else.

    The NAPA unit will work with the matched NAPA gauge only....

    VPW has some sending units and if I recall correctly, Star Electric had some that worked in the larger tank of the M724 and some other M vehicles...this unit has instructions that allow its depth to be adjusted and it can be used to replace the M715 unit...they may still have some, you can check...contact info:
