I'll finish sending pictures now that I think I've figured this out. buick 350 with t-98 bolted up. Trans will sit in factory position. However I'll be fabbing up a new mount for the trans and np205. Still have to run bolt thru the engine mounts and finish torching off the top of the factory engine mount. Will then final weld engine mount to frame.

troop seat sprayed with other parts.

It's a factory bellhousing and input shaft that is longer probably from a J truck. I bought it from another member with the retainer bearing, input shaft and bellhousing. FED SUCKS lost the bellhousing in transport. I sourced another bellhousing, rebuilt the transmission new bearings and seals and longer input shaft. The only part I had to fab was the pilot bushing. Everything bolted up and is all Jeep. Yes buicks came in Jeeps. I'm on the downhill part. Finish painting, a little more fabbing and putting her back together. Todd

Yea I knew it was Jeep. It's just amazing what they went through to fit an 8 where a 6 was. I'd rather just engineer different motor mounts.

The engine mounts came from a 69 J-3000 same truck as the engine. They go in the same spot as the factory M-715 mounts did. I used a through bolt from the top shock tower to position them. I had to torch out the studs though from the M-715. I will drill and add a couple more bolts to the mounts. Then add some welds. I don't want to rely on just welds. What I was happy with is the tranny ends up in the same factory position. I would then be able to possibly bolt in any BOP engine. Can't wait to hear it run. Fisherman

I live out in Snohomish. If your ever around let me know. Not to many fanatics like us around. I'd be interested in looking at what you've got for spare parts from your J truck. Todd Lucas Fisherman
