    Quality double-flaring tool: $100

    Quality bending tool: $20

Bulk stainless line (25 feet): $25

Getting your lines to fit exactly the way you want, and not having to wait for them: PRICELE$$

Being able to go back and repair/replace any section at will for future maintenance with my own tools: EVEN MORE PRICELESSER!!!

Yep, running a TH400. You can get the stuff cheaper, but I prefer stainless which lasts longer, but is more of a premium. It's also a little harder to work. BUT it's down right durned-economical when you price it against pre-bent lines that are store-bought. When they gave me the price, I asked if the lines came with a new TRUCK too!!!

Nice work. I think I will be going that route as well. I like to do as much as possible, also gives me a chance to go buy some new tools. Fisherman

Looks REAL nice. A lot better than my POS bending jobs. I redid my fuel lines with brake line a while back. Before, it was a cobbled together mixture of metal and rubber lines. Kinda scary.... Not wanting a Car-BQ, I replaced em so the only rubber lines are short and easily inspected and replacable.

Just for general info for everyone, Snap-On has a new bender out that will bend the small brake lines 180 degrees. It is the coolest one I have seen yet. I have used the above bender for years, and it is very easy, and does a overall great job, but sometimes you need it a little tighter. Also, Snap-On seems to have the best double flair kit also, I have wore out many other brands to the point the lines just slip thru when you crank down on the flair. Believe it or not, neither Snap-On piece is overly pricey.
