    How to turn a 78 J hood into a 67 M715 hood

    Removed the front ornamental cross bar
    Removed civy double latch bar
    Filled the two quarter sized holes
    drilled holes for the BO lamp
    drill and mounted the footman loop
    Still need to drill the hood latch holes.

    Looks like Gillespie #24087 for paint. looking good, now make sure the rest of the truck is that straight and good lookin.

    Yep ... Gillespie #24087 over Red oxide Primer over an Epoxy primer. red oxide over the Epoxy just to ensure correct color. As for the rest of the truck being straight ... here is a pic I previously posted that shows the cab. I'll see if i can get one of the doors later ... still working on the fenders and bed.

    You sir do marvolous work! I was surprised to see the old style turn signal instead of the new solid state ones? Was that for authentic OEM? Or is it a case of that's what I had so I'm reusing it?
