Thread: Cargo Cover.

    Default Cargo Cover.

Trying to find a decent price on a cargo cover. Anyone tried a cover from another MV pickup to see how well it fits?

    Default Gargo cover.

    Anyone?
    Maybe a M880 or M1008?

I dont know if there is anything that interchanges...maybe...but I do know it is a flat piece...if you have a place around that makes canvas stuff or that heavy semi tarp stuf...you can buy a piece and grommet it and go...end curtains just need the top edge cut on a curve, otherwise they are flat too.

Yeah, some of these places want like 400 bucks for the cargo cover. I would buy the material and grommets and do it myself for that. I need to build the garage with the taller doors first so I can leave it on.......

For end curtains, you can ask to the ebay seller italylover. He sells NOS ones with the ropes for a cheap price, only 22.50$. I bought two of them to make both ends of my cargo cover.

    Merci French Guy!

I'm guessing the aft canvas is rectangular in shape. I'd measure my truck but it's at the paint shop. Do we have a drawing/specs here with the size and gromet spacing?

I was also going to try to make a 2nd end piece with insect netting to get a little air through for camping. Any ideas? Thanks...Ken

This guy has several sizes listed and it's a far cry from $600. Which would fit? I'm still at the paint shop, can't measure mine(about 40 miles away) and I was hoping to have everything finished by the 20th as the big Lee Bottom Fly-In is the 25th of this month. Lots of one of a kind planes and green trucks.
    Thanks for all the help!

Bringing this one back to the top. I picked up a canvas top that I thought might be for a 101 trailer. Someone mentioned it might be for a 715 or 37. Anyone know what the dimensions are for the main cover? The one I have is roughly 11x13. It says on it:
    U.S.
    MS51323-8
    Breton Ind Inc

It has 8 buckles to maybe roll the sides up, 4 on each side, from one side to the other is about 5ft. There is extra canvas sewn in the 4 corners too.
