wiring ?? for the experts

I am trying to muddle through this rewire. i am using an EZ wiring 12 circuit harness. so far all is well but when it gets to the underdash stuff i got stumped in a few places.

1 i have a brake switch installed on the pedal support. i have a wire labeled brake switch power, and another labeled brake switch, this is supposed to tie into the GM style column plug, and merges with the third brake wire. how do i go about wiring all of that into the three lever? at the same time i should say that i am assuming the OFF position turns ALL of the lights off, and the STOP position will fire up the signals and brake lights. am i right on this thinking?

2 i was going to use a toggle for my turn signals, but some reseach has indicated that this requires alot of relays on funny stuff i am not so good at. will a generic signal lever from NAPA work with my harness that has flasher built in, and also work with the three lever?

right now i can't think of #3, but i am sure its there.

i also wanted to say Thanks for the diagram Rboltz. i printed it out on the blotter at work, and it has help alot.

The 3 lever will turn off all the lights in off and will allow the regular, or service (as opposed to black out), brake lights and turn signals in the Stop position.

I know people have used generic switches from Napa and the like in the past...not really sure if there is a matchng flashr for them or if it is a universal thing...not much help there...

I have this GM connector diagragm from WetCJ...might be of use?
