Outside messages?

I had what I thought was a PM, but no new PM when I looked, so checked again and it was an outside message? Non-registered message? I've never seen one before and, more importantly, now it's gone. Am I having an episode or did I lose it when I closed it or am i just ,missing something completely?

Yes, it is kind of confusing. This new version of vBulletin seems to be an attempt at emulating the popular facebook format where members have public messages with comments, friends, etc.

Not sure how useful it is here on the zone – maybe in time ???
