    Talking barn find

    I just purchased a 1967 off of E-bay . I should get it in about 3 weeks.
The truck has all of the original parts and runs. truck has 4950 miles on it.been sitting in barn for 15 years.
The milage almost sounds to low to believe.
My 68 odometer shown 22000 before cable broke
I'd like to know what kind of milage some of the members have on their odometers.

Mine had 12K on it when it came from the fire department. The other one that sold with it was never used since it left the forest service and had around 7K.

I think the truck belonging to Pistolnut in my class has low single digit mileage as well.

my 725 had 15,000 and one 715 had 16,000 while the other one had about 3000 miles. most didnt have many miles on them while in the military but when the fire departments and others got them, I think they used them alot more and they put most of the miles on them.

Man, I was watching that truck too! Great score! If that truck had been available 6 months ago...
My first truck had low milage but I can't remember exactly what it was 7 or 8 thousand comes to mind. This truck showed 12k but after crawling under it I discovered the cable had been disconected from the t-case, I'd bet it was close tho' since I'm sure that it sat for several years under the ocean waves. hahahahaha

Mine was just over 9000--DNR had it stowed away in one of their buildings.

mine has 24 or 26 on the odometer, but was civilian owned before i got it.

the other truck in the shop at avalanche had 392 miles on it when it came to the shop. and that was a beleivable number looking at it

Geez guys, way to ruin this guys happy buying experience. The interesting thing about military trucks is the fact that most show low miles. What generally grabs my attention more is when I see an original one for sale with high miles, particularly if it's a M-715; I think woohoo, one made it to normal engine-rebuild miles.

My M715 had 11,666 miles on it. My CJ-7 I bought had 83,666 miles on it. I bought a 87 Wrangler with 64,666 miles on it. I guess the 666 is my lucky number.
