Al,
I started running mine at 80 and it about shook me out of the truck. With the rear locker, I was worried about scuffing the front tires in turns and wearing out the expensive tires. I started going down in 5 psi increments. checking for front scuffing and feathering after a week or so. I was at 30 front and 55 rear for the FE last summer and should be near that now. Since that is the lowest I can go without scuffing in the front or being too wiggily in the back. I normally bump the rears up to 60 when I know I will be pulling a heavy trailer. But, just hooking up at 55 works fine too. Kind of squishy in the back however with a load in or on it. If you are still using yours with the hay fork, I would suggest 25 for the front and 50 or more for the rear. The locker really makes mine point either left or right while shifting the lower the rear pressure.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

thanks tim, yes it's still a hay truck and i also have a locker in the rear. i'll go from 50 psi to 55 and see how it does. you want the 2 run-flats i pulled out? ha ha
I just measured my PSI when I was measuring rims for Sermis a few minutes ago. 30 front and 45 rear. The fronts look good. I am going to raise the rear some because the lower the rears are, the more they bark in town. Plus, one of the rears is showing a little bit of scuffing on the outside edges. I thought I had them higher. Thanks for making me check.
Oh, the run flats were left in the tires Kwai and I broke down on purpose. I figured you would like the oppurtuninty to figure out something useful to do with them. Mine are buried in my shooting back stop.
