Do you mean that you have a NOS M715 harness? Or do you have a new generic harness?
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

    6.2 powered M715, 5 M1009's, M416, 2 M101's, 2 M105's, 3 M35's, M1007 6.5 turbo Suburban project called Cowdog.

Add fuses, LOTS of fuses. Stock M715 harness didn't have any.

Also, add a main fuse or circuit breaker between the harness main BAT feed and the battery/starter and also between the alternator output and battery/starter. Circuit breakers are nice because they double as a manuall shut off switch. For a stock M715 harness, make the main fuse for the harness no bigger than 60a. For the alternator fuse, size it to the alternator peak output +10 to 25%. BTW, the alternator fuse is not to protect the alternator -- it is to prevent an electrical fire if the alternator fails and shorts out!
