    Does this look right? I believe the civy pump is the same?

    230 pump has a gear and a ring. not two gears to make pressure.

    The K81C kit is the same as they list for the 232 and 258. Another mislabeled Jeep Tornado part.

    Yes, it does say so! Strange how ALL the auto parts suppliers have the same errors. There must be a service that supplies the part numbers to everyone, therefore, everyone is wrong.

    The proper kit would be a K-76 which is no longer available but it looks like the pump is, M-76, from Melling.

    Amazing what you have to learn, the hard way, but at least you can do lots of research with the internet. Now, if we can just get someone to answer the phone at these companies that speaks english.. . . .

    Default Has Anyone Tried This?

    Melling, the manufacturer, says they still have a few M-76 oil pumps for the 230. Can anyone confirm they really fit?

    That number sounds correct. It's a cast iron pump that fits the Military 230. Original oil pump was aluminum. with steel gear/rotor

    I looked through my records, and yes, M-76 is the correct p/n for the Melling pump.
