What are the true ohms rating for the stock sending unit on a M715 ??
I know that GM fuel gauges read 1 ohm @ Empty, 44 ohms @ Mid point, 88 ohms @ Full. What about the stock one ??
Thanks

The stock military fuel sending unit are not the same as any civilian ones.
Empty 30 ohms
Full 0 ohms
This is OPPOSITE of the GM car senders used up to 1965 or so...
If you were to use the older GM car sender, it would read full at empty and empty at full...
Thanks ... since i'm doing my 6bta swap ... i'll do as the same time all 12 volts gauges and bulbs. The sending unit is the only one that make me feel bad to changed ... so i will try to find something ....
Thanks !!!
