    Lightbulb m715 buggy ?

    Ok I've got a steal on a m715
67 m715 with the original axles and good body panels only rust that concerns me is the cab floor but the fenders, doors and bed are cherry so my thoughts are buy it (to cheap to pass up)dissassble the body prime every thing and store it for when Charlies fenders and doors are not salvegable (getting close thanks to nature and abuse) but I'm considering welding the rear axle dropping in the 350 sm465\205 combo that I'm removing from Charlie adding some tubing and bare essentials and just wheel the out of it
The suspension would need some rework but it is possible
Any thoghts and comments would be appreciated

How about swapping the nice body parts onto your good one, make a wheeler from the bad parts, . you won't feel so bad about damaging parts that way, ... .

Here at the shop we have been contemplating a similar project.....narrowing the 715 cab, hood and grille between 10-16 inches, bobbing and dovetailing in the bed, then sit it on a 4-linked tube frame....
