    VPW prices as of 10-6-08

Cargo bow, bentwood, $10 each three req.

Cargo bow corner, $18 each six req.

Cargo bow stabilizer, $20 each two req.

Cargo bow stave, wood, not available, six req.

Cargo bow stave stop, not available, six req.

The last two items not available are simple to make, the oak board to make the wood staves cost me $10, and the stops I made at work, but you could buy the material at a hardware store and cut and drill them at home.

Has anybody made this work without the troop seats? Like putting the uprights down into the bed pockets?

You'd have to put something there to brace them/tie them together instead of the troop seat slats, but it should work.

BTW, I believe the much more readily-available Deuce cargo bows would work, if you cut them down to size (equally from the ends). The corners are the same too. Troop seat assembly portion requires some cutting and/or lengthening of components, but they can be used as well.
