Anyone know what if a spotlight can be mounted in the hood BO light housing?
Looks like the AM720 may have had one. I can't tell for sure, the photo is a little fuzzy.

That's a standard black out light. I have seen people modify the light to be a spot light. The light just bolts into the bracket with a single bolt so you could mount a spot light in the same hole like a big old KC off road light maybe.

You can do a few different things with the blackout light on the hood. I converted mine to a 12V regular bulb, but retained the original housing.
I've seen them with clear lenses too, that can fit right in the original ring. There is a GE sealed beam part that will fit, but I don't know the number offhand. A lot of small tractors used them for headlights.
You can also do as Joe suggested and put a KC or like model light on it.
And fire departments sometimes put a red light there too.

There are 2 methods detailed here:

And a third here:
Another 12v blackout hood light conversion

Thanks very much guys.
I plan on using a flood lamp instead of the b/o lamp. A PAR36 worklamp is about the same size.
I used a current military issue BO light from trucklite. It wasn't too expensive and looks military with a nice green led light.
I want to make my cargo canvas roll up like that. I've got all the clips to do it. Just need to get someone with a heavy-duty sewing machine (Al?) to help me sew them on.

Bring it on down Tim. The machine is a little dusty and could use a run or two.
