Where in KY? The 725 is the one with a spot light, not the 715.

It's on the cowl next to the windshield frame. Not the BO light.
    It is actually a M726.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe there is a spotlight on any of the M715-series trucks other than the ambulance, and it's above the windshield. I've never seen another one, anyway.

Well, I just went and took a look at my new truck. On the cowl, there are 4 screw holes in a square shape and another in the center of that. Looks like four mounting holes and hole for wiring. I'm guessing the forestry service or fire department had either a spot light or siren mounted there.

Not stock, but maybe that's what you're looking at.

Not too far away. I'm down that way for Thunder every year. If you ever make it up to Cincy, let me know, we can talk trucks over a beer.

The M726 has, just as described, a spot light on the drivers cowl area.
They are VERY hard to find...someone tried to find parts for one several years ago...very hard search.

Heres 2 images from the manuals:

    No sweat.

Good luck finding one...they are scarce with a capitol everything and lots of $$$$ if you do...usually anyway.

I wonder if a guy could take one from a squad car and make it work well enough....
