    Default Spare Tire Carrier

I would like to do something like this for a spare carrier.

There is a production version but I am sure no application would fit our trucks.

There is a company in my area called OverKill Offroad that can make that for you. He even has access to a M715 for dimensions and to check the fit. If you want his information post up and I'll pass it along to you.

We could make something similiar with some square tube pretty easy.

My only concern is the back breaking lift of the tire/wheel.

Hmm - winch in the bed. Another "need" for the list.

not my favorite idea, but to each his own

definately looks like an easy peice to replicate.

my vote is for no square tube.

Square tube might work. Will work on some designs.

If you don't have a bender square tube is easier, also much stronger than tubing. In my opinion tubing doesn't belong on or look good on these trucks. I just prefer something more square I guess to keep the Military look.

My bender is at Al's house. I only have a 2" die for it though.
