    Default Mystery Brackets

I processed these along with all the other parts during my restoration, I am near the end and see no place for these, if I recall they were just sitting in one of the trucks.

    Thanks

Those look like they could have been the metal parts off of a strap that wasted away?

I think I found them in the manual, it looks like they are the brackets that go in the battery box to tie down the tool bag using a 1"x45" strap, perhaps someone can confirm. -24P NOV 71, page 242 fig 85 item 9.

I think I discovered them in the manual, it would appear that they are the sections that go in the battery box to secure the instrument sack utilizing a 1"x45" lash, maybe somebody can affirm?

They are the battery box stowage strap brackets, I could see the outline of them through the paint.

They look similar to the gas tank strap brackets.

Yes they do, good observation, however those are 3 times as long and made of a thicker material.
