Default Any Ford powered trucks out there?

Getting a truck in a few weeks where the PO has swapped in a Ford 351w. The rest of the drivetrain is stock. My question is does anyone else have a Ford powered truck and have you changed any other parts of the drivetrain? What components can be swapped to improve reliability and road manners (aka top speed).

I have a 360 and T-18 out of a '76 f-250. I drive it lots and never have any problems (knock on wood). Just don't be in a hurry.

    I swapped in a 351 Cleveland with 4v heads, t-18 and Dana-20 t-case. I've had no problems.
