I need to install my winch data plate to the dash plate. I want to use the original type rivets and not pop rivets. Any idea on who has some.

Rapco was the last place I heard had any. They might tell you they are M37 only though. We had this discussion a while ago and I "think" the rivets are the same but not 100% positive. Binford is the one that just went through this.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
6.2 powered M715, 5 M1009's, M416, 2 M101's, 2 M105's, 3 M35's, M1007 6.5 turbo Suburban project called Cowdog.

Yes, Rapco has the data plates, but told me they only had the brass rivets for the M151, which they promised me were a different size. I ended up using aluminum pop rivets. Looks okay...

I think the pop rivets will be too deep on the back of the plate for it to sit flush aginst the dash.
Sermis ,take a look at these ,these are sold to the valve rebuilders here in
Houston to put I.D tags on the valves

Check out the local Hardware store Like maybe a Ace Hardware, Should be able to find differnt size Rivets, ( not pop rivets ) Of course I don't remenber seeing a hardware store in Temple , TX , Maybe in Waco or Austin ? sf
We have a new ACE or True Value. Something like that. I went there the other day, don't remember the store name.
Upper right and second from the top right are blanks on mine (M715 wo/w). Bottom right is the transmission and t'case shifter directions and publications list.
Upper left is Vehicle identifier, on which the serial number and delivery date are stamped. The little plate to the right of that would be the winch control, if I'm not mistaken.
Second from the top left is the Servicing Data plate and below that (bottom left) is the Weight and Dimension plate.
As for Ace hardware, they do not carry the brass rivets, nor could they order them. Believe me, I looked high and low for the bloody things. I hope you have better luck than I did though!
After putting on the aluminum rivets, I pounded each one from the back to flatten them so they would fit pretty much flush on the dash. It worked.
Let us know if you find any brass rivets!

Did you guys check at a horse tack shop or custom leather tooling place that makes saddles and bridles, they may have something. Just a thought.
