    Default progress from this weekend

here is the progress rom this weekend. tailgate, lights, and custom farication of the tralier hitch. the tailgate was purchased at east coast kaiser in ct. it had quite a warp to it. a 1.5 x 1.5 continuous angle was welded to the bottom and acted as a straightening bar. we clamped it in about 6 places and tack welded it for now. the hinge fingers on the tailgate we all messed up. some quick persuasion with the blow torch and a 4 pound hammer moved them back into place. homemade pins from 7/16" rod stock with a drilled out nut on one end and a jesus pin on the other.

rocker switch, main switch and 12v switch console will have to be slightly relocated when the battery box cover is installed.

12 v converter behind the passenger seat this is connected to a battery charge connection just behind the driver side door.

main fuse boxes mounted on front fender

reverse light switch mounted below dash. i rigged up a typical cat eye driving light with a white and clear lens at the rear bumper as a reverse light. thanks for the great idea barrman

Did you by chance get that truck from Mark Masse? Or ever hear of him? He lived, last I knew, in NH....
