How do you like the light pattern from them, and did you get the DOT version or the Euro version?
I love the light pattern...these are the non DOT at the time I bought them...1998 or so...they didnt have it in the DOT spec then.
Its easier to explain with pics but I dont have any right now....what the light pattern does is:
On low beam, the light comes out of half the lens, it stays down on the road and because of the lines cut into the lens, it has a very distinct flat cutoff to the light out there in front. On the edge of the lens, the lines are angled and so the light coming out is angles up at the side of the road in order to help read road signs farther down the road.
The benefit here is the low beam acts like a driving or fog light to some extent...when its snowing like mad, I have much better vision in the truck than my other vehicles...easy....
Cinch to adjust too...with that dead flat line across the top of the light...I can actually pull up to cars in the truck and the light wont be in their rear window...but it shines an impressive distance down the road.
On high beam....simply amazing. It is dark enough at my place to see the Milky Way and Andromeda with the naked eye. Its dark...and there are lots of deer...good lights are mandatory.
With these, I not only light up the road brilliantly...I can light reflectors at over 1.5 miles...but it lights up both ditches and 15-20 feet up the tress on both sides with very white light. You dont want me to flash my brights at you....
Due to the intensity of the highs, I have a much better view of the road and the area that deer may run out from...peolple have passed me on the road, then slowed down and let me pass because they cant see anywhere near as well as my lights allow them to even though they are behind me...this has happened a few times in rain, snow, and in clear conditions where people followed me for 20-50 miles. Once when we went up north, about 150 miles each way, on the way home at night, my wife was following us and people would try to get around us...only to drop back behind me afterward...so then she had to keep jockeying to keep me in sight as we had about 6 or 7 vehicles doing this....and of course I wasnt going faster then 60...if they could have seen better, they would have gone ahead...
On low, real good lighting and arouses no suspicion as t being out of the ordinary...except that flat line...most never notice...
On high...plenty for any situation without doubt.
