Oil recommendations in 230

Am just curious what weight of oil I should use in the 715? I was thinking 30wt or maybe some 15w40 rotella. I know everyone has there favorite brand, but I just need to know what weight to use.

Nothing special, just use what works in your climate. The dash plates give the spec, I wanna say straight 30 wt., but that's from back in the day before multi weight oils were around.

I used 20W-50 when I changed my oil in February...the truck cranked real slow with that in it...but now is fine. When I change the oil again come October, I will use something like 10W-30 for winter driving. That 20W-50 is like glue in the cold...
If I had straight 30W I would also use that in spring and summer...

i use 30W or 10W-30 year round in FL.

I use 5w-30 in winter and 10W-30 in summer

Lube order specs 30w when temp over 40* - 10w when 40* down to -10* and some special stuff below that.
10w-30 would have you covered.
