Got heat!
Finally got around to wiring up the heater for the personnel heater kit.
I made this wire to add the 15 amp fuse.

I sure kicked up some dust when the blower started. I'm going to the place where I get my vinyl decals done to get a 'BLOWER' decal for the dash.

Fishtale,
Did you install an original military heater or an aftermarket? I want to add a heater to mine, and I think there is a thread for an aftermarket install. A few pictures would be nice!
Thanks in advance,

There is alot to it if you break it down.
Heater core with housing and diffuser M715 take out from ebay $100
Defrost ducts NOS ebay $50
Heat and fresh air cables NOS ebay $45
J pipe from Zone member $5
Wire and connectors NOS Eriks mil. surplus $10
Blower NOS ebay $40
Blower switch from work $free
Hose clamps from work $free
Duct hose from Zone member $free
Heater hose local, $5
Total that up=$255, plus I need the defrost cable, then add a pile for all the shipping=priceless:D
Here is the M715 diffuser box

I still need the defrost cable. I have one on the M726 I can rob it from for now. Plus I am going to have made some "BLOWER" decals.
Note: I want to keep the truck in original paint, thus I didn't paint the heater core box or the air box.

Nice job getting it all together...minus the cable for now...and documenting it for others...they do work pretty good with a hard top in the winter...you have canvas though right?

Gosh, I am for sure behind the 8-Ball. My truck is a factory no heater model. I often thought it would be nice to have one. But I know how scarce those items are and they are getting even more scarce. I will live in Florida but we do have cool mornings.
Hmmmm.....
