Well, I have the rear axle out and now I am trying to remove the hub nut. I bought the 2 1/2" socket for it....but I think it is too big.
Also there seems to be "key ways" or "tabs" for lack or a better term, that is keeping the socket from going on very far.
Obviously I am missing something :eek: again..... :(

there are two nuts in there an between them is a lock its a flat piece w tabs around it after inside nut is in you place the lock in an install the outer nut over it then bend over one or two of those tabs over the flat of the outer nut, you must bend those tabs back out flat agian to get the outer nut off usually a flat chisel is good to do it or a strong flat screwdriver just get under the tab an bend it back then when u reassemble u will need to bend the tab back to hold the outer nut.
