wow, a fan shroud? thats a hard to get item, is it a repro, or a used one? I looked forever before I bought a good used one, in fact I bought a couple broken ones first that I still have hanging up.

Believe it or not, NOS from Memphis Equipment. They have a lot of stuff that is not on the website or in the parts books. On a whim, I asked the guy if he had a shroud. He said he did and I think it was about $75. You would pay that much or more if you got one for a modern truck. It was worth it to me. Mine is just two pieces. One bolted to the left side of the radiator and the other piece bolted to the right side of the radiator with nothing connecting the two sides! I guess you have to make a list and just get on the phone. I was shocked that they had repro mufflers and tailpipes. I got the two front pipes from Saturn Surplus and they were NOS in the box for about $40 for both pieces. I try to equate the prices with what you would pay for a pipe for something today, like a 98 Grand Cherokee etc. About the same.
when I was putting the winch back in my truck I needed the lever that goes on the pto and the shift rod connects to, they had one and i gotr it for 5.00.
some people dont like dealing with memphis but I have no problems with them.

I have had no problems dealing with them. Some stuff is reasonably priced and some is expensive. Unfortunately the truck that we all have chosen for our hobby was only produced in a quantity of about 33,000, for three years, and 44 years ago. I feel lucky to get almost anything if I need it...
Could I get a copy of the template for the half moon brckets? One vendor quoted me $30 a pop.
Thanks
I hope Dan can help you. My brackets are all installed on the truck right now. I agree that some parts are... well... way over priced. Supply and demand?
Old thread. I know. How does one go about making the exhaust hangers?
