Bought gaskets..but.
They did not work.
I finally found the napa part number on here for the oil pan gasket, but napa said they dont carry that number anymore but could cross reference it.
I looked up all the old jeeps that ran the civvy 230 tornado.. BUt this gasket kit that discount auto had in stock is no where near what is under the kaiser.
So the part number I found out on here is NGA OS20927
This is what I have that doesnt work.

Im going to take the number i found on here and try to have them cross it up.. Going to be replacing gaskets and hoses and what nots to get this hopefully to a non leaking point for a while.. im loosing a LOT of oil lately.
Also.. I got a brand new valve cover gasket from vintage and within a month of being installed, its dry cracking along each bend!! Whats the deal?

give AB Linn a call. I bought some gaskets last year and had no trouble with them.
-
AB Linn?? Im new and never heard of him/her/shop?
-
Ooops, just did a search for ab linn..thanks again! didnt know.
-
I try him first for most stock parts. He has been the best to deal with by far. Very fair, and great service. My .02/100

The v/c gasket on my truck is nothing but cracks yet it hasnt leaked.
-
I agree with all points
AB Linn, first stop.
NOS V/C gaskets junk but won't leak.
Napa is hit and miss on the right parts.
-
yeah ab linn wasnt much of help.. only has reflectors and a temp sending unit..
However i took the number for the gasket from this site and napa cross referenced it to something so i ordered it..if its not it..then im gonna have to find something else.

I bought my last gasket set from whiteowl.com
It's been a while, though.

Another source on Ebay, but pricey. I've never bought from them but might consider if you can't get the gasket from another source.
