Hello every one, new to the site officially been milling around a little. Anyway I'm looking at buying an M715 And I was just curious as to what I should look at on it before purchasing it. Thanks in advance, Charles.

Rust. Everything else is easy to fix.
Welcome.

That and big holes cut into it by a VFD conversion.
Tailgates are hard to come by.
-
And fuel tanks. Look for rust behind the seats, also.

Thank you for the responses, I went and looked at it and it seems quite clean. Apart from rust in the compartment under the bed. It runs well but brakes are a little weak. They are asking 3000 Not sure if that's a fair price or not,any input on that would be great. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d6308bf412.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3026209133.jpg

Welcome:)
That looks pretty nice.

$3k for a minimally-rusted good runner seems reasonable to me.

If it is as clean as it seems, it looks like a good deal.

Good start to a project truck. I think $3000 is in the ballpark, considering you said it runs fairly well. Offer the seller $2,500 and see what happens. Good luck.
