Has anyone priced replacing the windshield glass in their trucks lately??? How costly is it? I guess they can't order so they just cut to size?

I just replaced my windshield a few weeks ago. I took them the frame with the old glass still in it so they could use it as a template, they cut it perfectly, reused the gasket and handed me back the frame in less than an hour. They used 1/4" laminated safety glass with a small amount of bevel so it wouldnt cut into the rubber. (BTW, I used Ace autoglass in Lowel) and $120 bucks later I could see out again.
I think mine was $150 or so for the 725, but it's a bigger windshield than the 715s.
I paid about $100 and had them put in a new gasket.
That's the same as what I paid for mine.

I think mine was $120 with a new gasket. I got clear because I didn't want to worsen the reflected glare at night.
Man I got took but they had to replace the rubber and also did both of the small windows in the rear doors on my M725. $300
My total for the front windshield, new front rubber, rear hard top glass (tinted) and new rear rubber was just below $200. I took the windshield frame and hard top to them so they didn't have to crawl around on the truck to do it which saved me some too.
Where did you guys get the windshield gasket??
The same place you get the glass....they usually have the gasket stuff in stock...its a basic common type.
