Glad to hear about the wife.
On the upper right section of this page you are viewing and just below the "Zone" header, there is a tool bar and the third item in from the right is a "search" function. If you click on the downward pointing arrow, a little box will open up that will allow you to type words into in order to locate past threads and posts. It's sort of like a "quick find" of the filing system or library of all the information ever posted to this site. Try typing in "bows", "soft top", etc. and you'll likely locate plenty of information to assist in answering your question. I believe there was a thread last week that dealt with the exact same issue as the question you've posted above.
Oh, and welcome to The M715Zone.;)
Here's the recent thread.

was nominal measurements of the roof bows. Is the second bow the same height as the rear bow? Can someone pull a tape from the cab to the bottom of the roof bow? Thanks for the help
The 2 bows are identical.
I cant pull a measure...hardtop...sorry.
I have a forestry truck, with a hard top that angles up from the front to the rear. All the ones I have seen on other trucks the second and last bows are the same height. Just trying to figure out my options for a hardtop or softtop. Thanks.
The two stock cab bows are indeed the same height. If you want to know that height, I will measure Fisherman's bows Sunday when I visit, since his bows are not yet installed on his truck, so far as I know. Would that help? Then you'll know the height of the stock canvas top above the top of the side window frames.
That would be very helpful, thanks Binford. I am wanting to install rollcage, but would like to have the canvas top. Doing all this ono the cheap, so I will be doing the majority of the work.
Fisherman had his bows already installed and all painted up pretty-like and everything. I was hoping he'd have them sitting around so I could set them on the floor and measure up from there. But he didn't, so I didn't get the measurement.
Someone here probably has the bows off and can check that measurement for you. Anyone?
I thought I posted it somewhere....see if this helps:
