I went for a trip with a buddy in his chevy 3/4t the other day, 60 front/ 14 rear, no 'death wobble' at all. We ran about 70/75 the whole way,(300 mi). How come everyone says the 60 has the 'wobble'? Is it the axle 'set' in the 715???????????????????? I'm asking one more time, cause I'm about ready to put my 60 under the 'M'. Does it have to do with production years? A lot of my friends have 3/4, oneT, trucks and they say they haven't had problems. Thanks guys.

Only if your axle has a lot of slop in the kingpins/balljoints. Having the correct caster helps too.

It's more of a maintenance/wear issue than a problem with design in the axle.

My work truck's 60 had death wobble.
The kingpin spring was about 1/4" shorter than the new replacement spring. OH MY

Another vote for (kingpin) springs, and large tires will exagerate the issue.

Thanks all. The axle had no problems in the Chevy.
