Requesting pictures of a civy 2 barrel intake and 0-7448 Holley on the 230 Tornado

Anyone out there help me out with some pictures of this setup? I am wanting to swap to a 2 barrel intake and a Holley 350 cfm carb on my 230. Ive read a lot of post but cant seem to find any pictures of the Holley 2300 0-7448 carb sitting on a 230. If anyone is running this setup could you respond with some pictures. Maybe a shot of how you are running your choke and throttle lines? I pm'd a couple of people that through research I found that they were running the set up at one time, but they haven't been active in quite some time.

I had a 2 barrel with a Holley 2415 carb...350 cfm...the combo came on some of the stock 230's so I took it all and installed it. Linkage is pretty much the same for the 2300 as the 2415...uses the stock choke cable and the stock accelerator cable...

You can see the throttle cable and the T fitting I added as there is only one port on this manifold for both the water hose and the coolant temp sending unit...that was my solution to that...

Brute, thank you for taking the time to post these! I like the temp sending unit work around and might use that on mine. My throttle body linkage is hitting, did you cut yours down? I purchased a 1" spacer that I think will solve the problem.

Mine did not hit...maybe a difference between the 2300 and the 2415? Dunno...

I do know the civvy trucks used the 2300 on the 63 and 64 models...the 65 used the 2415...if a guy could find a pic or an actual 63 or 64 model, it would know what the factory did there...

Came out pretty! Nice job getting it that neat...like the air cleaner too.

I see the fuel line is tied to the coolant line...would that maybe cause problems in the heat of summer? Not sure...

Not sure, I live in the south where the summers are quite hot. May run it off the tab on the thermostat housing and back from there.

Pondered it some. Maybe wrap the fuel line in some wire, coil it around the line. Then it could be posed in a position and would stay there without being tethered to the water line.

Finally warm enough to mess around in the shop. 230 running with the 2 barrel Holley.
