I have changed over to 12 volt and now the horn does not work at all. Im not superized but want to get one that sounds the same, it was just like the roadrunner "meep meep'' so out of corrector for the truck i loved it. what have you all done for a horn that sounds like the stock millitary horn?

I was hoping to pay a little less $$ for one. but that is what I need. Do thay sound the same as the 24v military horn?
It says "military look".
I don't know, but wouldn't be surprised it they took NOS and swapped out the actual horn in the body.
Maybe?
Good questions guys. I dont know the answer. I'm 12v too, my horn sounds like a sick cow. Its on my list of future buys, but pretty far down the list for now.
12V sounds just like the 24V, sick cow...
im gonna have to wire mine up just to hear this sick cow.

VPW has them too. From their email ad:

When I talked to VPW, I was told their horn does not look like the OG Military horn...

OK, after a scientific poll of one co-worker and one innocent bystander (client), the consensus was:

(Sounded more like the roadrunner with a cold to me, but my ears are still ringing from the 12v battery testing)
