New 1993 camper for my M715. Fit just fine, all I had to do was make a platform with 2 X 4s and a piece of 1/2" plywood to raise it over the rear cab bow. Lots of looks and thumbs up! No need for airbags or helper springs, only weighs 1700 lbs.

So far so good. Took it on a test drive today and went right along at 50 MPH, met a couple of 18 wheelers and they didn't buffet me when they went by. The SB 350 moves it right along and I can still take off in 2nd gear with it on the back.

That looks like a rather large camper unit. That being said, the first photo from straight on seems to show it's a good fit. All in all, it looks like they were made for each other.
It is a 9 1/2 foot camper and the weight is 1700 lbs. It is still March, I tarped it for the winter and we could still get hammered with snow before Mother's Day up here near the Canadian border. (Although this winter seems over).

Thanks for adding the extra photo's, I wasn't sure how big of a camper to look for but 9 1/2 feet seems like a good match, I have found that 9 1/2 feet is where the campers start to feel noticably bigger, they have a bigger bathroom, more storage and are a lot less cramped than the 8 footers. The 11 and 12 foot campers would just be to big for the size of the truck in my opinion. Yours looks GREAT! Thanks again!

Saw a slide in camper today for sale and thought about this post. Made me want it for my 715. Looks nice.

drop a diesel in that 725 and build a camper inside, make a cool travel rig. Yeah a little smaller and not a civilized as an actual slide in camper, but certainly a little more rugged and offroad capable.
Thanks for posting the pics Moose...I am addicted to M725's. Can you tell any difference with summer heat with that nice white roof. Seems like it would help quite a bit...my roof will boil an egg just about any day during summer.
Well here is the link for the pics of my other M725 I will use for a few parts then sell it this summer. As far as making my M725 a camper, I can't do that it is #20 off the assembly line, trying to get all the parts to bring it back to original condition.

Does anyone have pics of an Alaskan in the back of a 715? Or seen one? Found a nice '71 8' Alaskan, going to measure my bed tomorrow.
