Harbor Freight has them pretty cheap. I got one a few weeks ago...haven't used it yet though.
Bigger is Better if you've got the room! Plastic parts on circulation pumps wear out alot faster. Buy cleaning fluid made for Parts Washers.
I was looking at that one and one just like it in the Northern Tool catalog, but they wanted 34.00 shipping. In Harbor Freight you get free shipping,
I think it's Harbor Freight for me.
Pay more attention to GPM than pressure. Some cheapies have high pressure, but low GPM. I'd suggest 2.5 GPM as a minimun.
I went through the two catalogs plus Eastwood and they all seem tobe about
.8 GPM But Northern has a replacement pump that puts out 4.4GPM. I don't need commercial grade but I would like it to work when needed.
I got some of the water soluable concentrate but am leaning toward diesel. :) Will it work? Anyone use that other stuff??
.8? was that a typo?
1.6, 1.8 are smallish ones?
How much you looking to spend?
I know that bought his honey and new dishwasher and put the old one in his garage for a parts washer. He says it does a good job. I have often thought that if I could get one cheap - I'd give it a try too. Just thought I'd pass it along for any or you guys doing a remodel for the woman of the house...
JACK!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read that POWER WASHER>>>>dip(as in me)
I'll leave now. sorry
I've got one of the Harbor Freight models, and like most of their stuff it's not great, but works ok. Beats the hell out of a coffee can full of gasoline. I bought some Graymills solvent from Graingers to fill mine with. A friend of mine uses diesel in his and reports good results, but the diesel smell gets to me after a while. Good Luck.
Speeking of diesel if I keep the cover closed does it keep the stench contained,
or is my garage gona stink. It's heated and I keep my dogs in there during the
day, they have a dog door so they can go outside. I have a pole barn so I could put the washer in that but it's not near where I work on the truck.
