Looking at interior configuration currently. It appears that a pair of buckets is the quickest and easiest route, but I have 2 nephews (5 and 7 years) so I need a bench set for 3. Any suggestions or examples out there?

Tim the tool man put a deuce bench in. I have some ready for the scrap bin. Let me know if you want them.
Thanks for the info Gimpy. Also, thanks for the seat offer. I will take it into consideration. I really like the utility aspect of the folding paasnger seat, but the comfort and safety levels of the stock-type seats are lower than I am looking for. I will keep this as a possible solution though...
I am probably going to go to a salvage yard and look for some kind of 40-20-40 power bench seat, hopefully in leather.
Lots of people have installed Wag/J-truck seats. Just have to find a decent specimin, or be willing to have one recovered.
A lot of the 2003 or so chevys have integrated shoulder belts. Nicer than the Dodge integrated from the late 90's. Something to consider with the younguns ridin' shotgun.
I know as a fact that wagoneer seats/brackets are almost a direct bolt-up to our trucks. I used a set of brackets from a 79 cherokee, only had to drill 2 holes on the passenger and 1 on the driver. I also know they never changed the mounting locations on the FSJ's so if it was in an FSJ, should work in a 715 fairly easily. They have buckets in a number of years, but they have a center arm-rest/seat that spans the space between the 2 buckets.
Here is my $20.00 seat. Out of a 90's something Chevy EX cab pickup.

Not a front bench seat but lots of seating options but there is quite a bit of $$$ in this setup from a JP Mag Project Truck:

I'm currently installing a a pair of these Baja seats in the cab of my Jeep while still keeping the battery box. Its a tight fit but its gona be a lot nicer than the crappy stock seats and I'll be able to install a safer retraint system. I'll try and get some pictures posted in the near future.

Purchased a spare passangers seat and cut the frame down to make a jumpseat/armrest between the stock seats.

If you decide not to go with a bench, and want a nice looking bucket seat, I am installing Commander seats from a HMMWV with the adjusters. Not factory, but they look right (OD Canvas).
If you are headding north anytime I could really use one of those duece passenger seats Gimp :-)
Unfortunately with my knees I'm not going anywhere for a while!
I will have one ready when you need it. I have no plans to go north at this time.
I really like the front buckets in the new Wranglers. They are made of a fabric which withstands weather and cleans up easily. I'm hoping to stumble on a donor with tan, olive, or brown interior upholstery.
My initial attempt is going to be a 40-20-40 from a 2004 F150. The 3-point seat belts are integrated for all 3 positions and the center folds down into a console. The overall size is pretty large and might become an issue. I guess a test fit will tell.....
Deep into the F150 seat project. They are going to work out well, but required floorpan mods and a custom seat frame to mount them on. They have integrated 3-point belts and have power backs and bottoms and power lumbar too. All I gotta do now is add the heat/massage units......
I spose I should ask here too/instead... got pictures??
Im looking at the GSS corbra seats for mine.... as sonn as I get some dimensions Ill pull the trigger.
Now I am only missing one more thing to start my conversion...... oh yeah TIME:happy12:

Hopefully these are seat project photos.
We fabbed a 2x4x3/16 frame that the seats sit on. This subframe will then be tied into the frame and nerf bars.
where did you put the batterys?
