What's everyone running in their t-case? About to put mine back in the truck, and want to know if anyone's had good/bad luck with their brand/weight.

I have run the recommened on the data plate 90W, 80W-140 mineral based and 80W-130 synthetic. The synthetic helps with the heat a little. Otherwise, I couldn't tell a difference.

Full synthetic....75W90...Eaton, the semi axle stuff.

I know Mozarkid ran 140W-250 in his and overfilled to double the recommended amount...said that worked for him.

better use synthetic 85w140 its a heat sink and needs all the help it can get.

I like to run 50w in the 715 and also in my binders.

50 synthetic ok in trans but way too thin in diffs and t-case

I use the 50w in the transmisions and transfer cases but not in the diffs. The differences in shifting between gear oil and 50w is unbelievable. Also no trouble with seals leaking using the 50w.

I've ran it in a 205 for 2 years now with no odd noises or troubles. A local diesel mechanic who is also a friend recommended it to me. If I hadn't talked with him, I would still be running 80w-90.

NP200,S AND NP205,S ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT CRITTERS AS YOU,LL SEE. ONE IS FULL TIME AND ONE IS PART TIME. LIVE AND LEARN I RECON
