Troop
For the interior, it will have a cage tied to the frame. Guages to include pyro, boost (maybe two of them), water, volt, speedo, tach. A tilt wheel if I can fab the stuff (maybe another product for the zoners).
I have something special for the glove box but it is still under development and I cant say anything about it but will when it gets time.
I guess nothing too fancy. I have some special plans for the filler neck:happy10: Other expedition type stuff Im trying to do is equal length shafts so I can carry one shaft and be good. Ill have a 61 gallon tank for some range. And yes you can get good mileage with this power levels....just have to keep the foot out of it. I got 22 mpgs in my one ton J10 when I was highway cruising so I know I have the discipline (and the 4b was nowhere near stock).
On board air may end up in the cab to keep it out of the mud, water, etc. Going to reqire the whole truck of course. Add a heater. A special replacement BO light is also in the works.

Thanks for the enthusiasm all!

Update time!
The rear of the frame had to be modified with the plasma to allow the sleeves between the plates to sit flush. Guess Im getting ahead of myself. To hang the rear shackles, the rear would be plated. Inbetween the plate and the frame, tubing would act as spacers and provide the bolts something to squeeze against.
Here are the plates with spacers on them

And the plate against the frame without the holes drilled for the bolts

The frame plates are welded to the frame and will be trimmed with the plasma later. Motor mounts also gone. Shock towers will also go, just bolts holding them now. All the rivets have been ground down and removed.
Next was the front. Today was spent cutting the original leaf spring mounts off and grinding everything down smooth.

The front frame extensions had to be leveled off to accomodate the new shackle hangars going in.

Long overdue update
Havent been able to do much the last 2 months.....had a job scare so the truck took to the back burner until I knew if I had a job. I still do thankfully.
I dont have pics just yet but the Cummins has been test fit in and all I can say is WOW. There is a TON of room cmpared to the J10 I had with a 4B! The motor mounts should be back from the machine shop. Twin turbo will fit no problem.
Currently, the stock Dodge intercooler I have may be tricky, I have another industrial intercool that may work or have one built. It wont be a big deal either way....it will all fit. Still cant get over how much room there is.
New NV4500 is ordered. I have a 2wd version, but am going to go with a married doubler instead of a divorced route and this will give me equal length shafts if the measurements are correct. Ill just swap the input on the 203 side of my doubler and be good.
Hydraulic tubing bender is about to be fired up for the transmission crossmember, transfer case and roll cage.
Thanks for all the support and enthusiasm.....progress and pics will be comming! Ill be out most of the week but thats OK until I get the motor hard mounted, Im at a stnd still anyway.

Mopck up teaser
There have been a few people possibly interested in mounts for the 715/6B. Here are the mock up picks of the location for the motor. I dont have a head on shot to post but the crank centerline is centered in the bay. Once the original radiator support is cut out, there is 10 inches to play with. Electric fan will take up 2.5". This is roughly the same as the Ram truck this was pulled from. Obvisouly one picture is with the sheetmetal on. I cant post the motor mount ideas as my friend is developing some conversion pieces.....possibly for the Jeep crowd!!!!

Update time. Over the last little bit, lots of the small things have been getting attention. The new 35 spline D60 outer and ujoints are pressed on. I removed all the brackets and welded crossmember pieces from the trans and xfer case. Stripped the frame of the scale and put a rust converter and painted the frame. Also, got half of the front spring hangers burned in.
Lots of the small stuff such as brake calipers have been primed and painted.
Motor mounts are burned in and the motor is back out. The head will come off to get oringed. I hjave ARP head studs to go in. The head will also get HD valve springs since The injection pump has 4K governor springs now. 175 HP injectors are in. The front and rear seals will be replaced. The KDP will be tabbed. Then the motor will be reassembled and painted.
Almost time to fire up the tubing bender and hang the trans and doubler. Oh yeah, new NV4500 came in!

Now for some pics.
NV4500 I ordered with a dodge input and GM mainshaft. The dodge mainshaft is 29 spline and there is not a NP203 input to match so you have to run a 32 spline mainshaft as the NP203 behind TH400s were 32 spline.
