Theres been a lot of those.
And unfortunately his pictures weren't exactly the ones I was looking for. I'm trying to use the stock brake master as a clutch master since I've swapped to a 'Vette master for the brakes. Trying to judge by descriptions with no pictures sucks. I recalling seeing pictures, but didn't have the foresight to save them.
About a year ago (not knowing that Photobucket was going to pull this crap) I got tired of the ads so I paid the $9.99 subscription fee. Now, it is in the hundreds. But so far, my pictures are still posting.
Jerks, I hope they go under for this greed. A reasonable price would be OK, but what they want? Pound sand...
Any update on this project George?
Hi Paul!
Thanks for asking Paul...
I just made our permanent move south of Indy in Feb. I brought the truck from Illinois to a storage unit close by. I should be finished putting up a shed in a week or two, allowing me to bring the truck home.
Progress was slow last year and only got back to Illinois 3x to work on it.
I'm close to firing up the Cummins: fuel lines, under hood wiring and clutch hydraulics.
I hope to be posting again by June!

Awesome. Glad to read you are getting settled in a better place.
Thanks Tim, looking forward to getting at the truck again!

I couldn't imagine making a move like that. I'm glad things are working out for you.
It's also good to hear you're still planning to finish the truck.
Thanks Paul

I am bringing this one back from the dead.
It’s been a long while since I posted. I’ve stopped by one in a while to check on some specifics.
I have the Cummins up and running as of a few weeks ago. I still need to hook a lot of stuff up.
I still have it titled in IL, but just pinged Beast to get reg numbers, so I can transfer the title and get it registered.

Welcome back!
Truck looks great and so does the new state. Congrats.
Great to see you back!
Thanks Tim and Gonz!
It is good to be back
The old state is really going down the tubes fast Tim. It’s really sad.
My son and his family and daughter and hers are still there, so we visit often.
Son is getting back from a year deployment in Kuwait next week. He is looking to transfer from ANG to active, so they will move residency
Great engine. I wish I could have done a 12 valve. They just cost to much here. Looking great and keep posting. I would like to see this site get busy again. Would you please thank your son for serving. Grateful for his service and the country we have had. To many don't realize the careless mistake of not appreciating what we have here.
Thank Kaiser, for that, I will tell my son for sure!
Serving in this day and age to the best upholding of the oath is to be highly commended...definitely thank him for me!!
Nice to know your out of Illinois...every time I gotta drag the semi through Chicago, its gets harder to do...
M715 looks great though...THAT oughta be great fun...super work...ENJOY!!
We go through Indy alot...I end up at the Flying J or one of the other truck stops at Whiteland at the 95 exit on I-65 every so often...be nice to meet up sometime
I will let him know Jon, thank you!
Yes, for sure. The whiteland stop is not far from me at all. Let me know next time you are rolling through .
I work from home most of the time. Let me know, and if I can break away, I will., or make it the next time
The doors and hood and bumper never got the paint update. I got them stripped down. That is some tough paint to remove

My oh my, I just sent a day plus sanding on each fender skirt for a total of 2.5 days of nothing but sanding with an air sander. And a full day on the inner grill support. Only the inner panel. Seeing all that paint gone means you probably have a pile of sandpaper a foot high. Yes this is the toughest paint ever. But wow does that look great. Pretty sweet!
You are not kidding. I went through a bunch of DA discs and some roles of paper for the long board sander.
When I vacuumed it up, the filter fell off of the shop vac at some point and seized up the motor. Thankfully I was almost done at that point.
Wife got a new shark vacuum for the house, so I finished up using the old one
The exterior paint is almost done. I’ll post up a picture or two once I get the lettering on
Absolutely looking forward to it. We are both so close to being running and sort of done.
Hey George, is your windshield gasket lock strip on the inside or the outside? I can't tell.
You know Al, I misread your comment. I was thinking the gasket between the window frame and cowl.
I’ll have to look at the windshield tomorrow.
My windshield has delamination bubbles around the edges. The frame is the last exterior piece that needs stripping and painting
I got some more done. I?ll post pictures soon.
After 4 trips to the Indiana central BMV office, I am now titled in the state, and applied for FM vehicle registration.
I am hoping to see that this week or early next. It was $15:for the title, plus two $3 vin inspections, and $15 for the registration.
I had to get an MVIN, as my 5 digit vin matched a 1940s vehicle with the same vin.
New vin plate attached next to the original on the stock data plate panel. My next paint project is the dash and data plate panel.

I finally got the registration sorted out, a week or so ago.
Last week I took it out for the first time in about eight years. Everything went well, except the alternator is not charging. Not a huge deal, as it was only a couple miles away. I will dig into that in the next couple of weeks.
I went to the local hotdog stand/drive-in, and spent a few hours there. Had a great time. It feels good to have the truck back on the road.
Looking real good George.
Looks great!! I ran through the pages and didn't see what spare tire carrier you used. If you pull the spare, can you take a quick pic of it, and what you used?
Man that looks Great!!!
A man and his skills and tools come together in a real beauty....sweet!!!!
Thanks guys!
Gonz, i a took a spare Chevy hub and some steel and made a tire mount. Nothing fancy, but I will snap a picture here in the next week or so

Not great pictures, but here is the tire mount for the spare in the bed
Your truck looks awesome!
I need to do something like that for my truck. Having a spare on board is a good thing. I have a viair pump and a plug and patch kit which is handy. But a spare is a necessity. Thanks for posting.
Thanks MM!
Thanks for the reminder Al. I need to get a patch kit and a few other goodies to keep in the truck. I have that in the other vehicles, and was needed a time or two.
I picked up a set of 16? steel wheels. The 16.5 hummer tires are drying out. I should have some options between the 2 rim sizes.
I am considering going down a size or two. I have to take the bows out of the top to get it in or out of the garage with the 37s on it.
Good to see you posting George. I've been gone for a while and haven't been keeping up much if at all with what's going on here.
I'm planning on being back in earnest now at least for a while.
I just spent some of my "free time" moving my truck back into the project position (family joke) and got started dismantling it. I'm pretty sure this third one is going to take me a long time to complete.
Your truck looks great but I've gotta say it hurts my eyes to read you're putting smaller tires on it. (Sarcasm). I understand wanting to fit it in the garage though.
