Well I had a reply to you days ago Bill, but it does not seem to be here. Maybe I did not hit post...LOL
So I am back on the wiring !! Rang a stang is wiring the J4000 with a 8.1 liter motor I sold him over at IFSJA. So were kinda racing to see who finishes first. Today it was the wiring for the relays for the headlights. Using Hella Ecode headlights I finally got my FLOSSER German made relays from Susquehanna motor sports or rally lights dot com. I am running tinned marine wire and soldering every end. No china crap here. I will post some pictures when I have something to post. I have a long way to go. I want to hear this thing run.
Because pictures always are fun.
The mess of wires are getting reduced. As they land where they should it is looking better. There will be a full day of stuffing everything into wire looms and securing them. Thats last.
I have E code headlights going in. I am soldering all relay and bulb connections.

And using German flosser relays. I am not impressed with the painless wire harness. The puny headlight wires are only serving to trigger the relays that are wired with much bigger wire. The light fused power is sourced from the battery and grounded to the battery. Full voltage to make light.

I have been using E code lights for decades now. Not legal in the USA because they work. With the LED lights on the road now it is a moot point. These put light where it should be. On the road and on the shoulder. I have deer here. They will shine here. Not to use a bad pun...

Yesterday I finished the headlights, front turn connections, park lights, horn, washer pump, etc. I still have the engine, in cab, and tail lights to go.
With an exception of battery cables and winch power leads from the stinger 500 amp solenoid the engine bay is wired!
