Thank you, getting closer. Another non published part at Memphis, horn switch.
Hood, air cleaner and black out light installed also sprayed the back of the doors. I know the lighting is terrible, sorry.
For some reason, I can no longer view your photos.
I am having the same issues with photos on the whole site.
Spent most of the day installing the doors today, a little tricky by yourself, I used a transmission jack to help steady them, also installed the mirrors. Can't seem to get the body line to match at the hinge side, one side needs to go up and the other down, the adjustment's seem to allow for in-out at the hinge, and back and forth and tilt at the back but no up down at the hinge to correct the body line. Also finally found the brass screen for the fill neck. Painting the front bumper now, I think that is the last item to paint.
I am clicking on the link above and it opens a window but just spins.
PM me if you want to troubleshoot and I will give you my cell.
Well...it wasn’t doing that before on my end but now it is...thanks for letting me know...
Had her out today for a while running up and down my road, salt on main road prevents a real road test.
Glad you got to drive her! I really wish I could see the pics, I’m sure it looks great!

Rear Main Seal. I guess M715 ownership is not complete without this leak. In this case it was a puddle after each short run, so after reading several posts here it sounded like a straight forward job. The longest part of the project is cleaning and prep.
Access to drop the pan is good, the only thing I had to move out of the way was the clutch rod for access to remove the clutch inspection cover. Remove the oil pan, remove the clutch cover, remove two cap head screws from the filer block, drop the block down and there is the seal. Rolled the top half right out with a screwdriver and bottom pops right out of the filler block. I'm glad actually I was forced to change the seal as the suction screen was loaded with goo and some left over blue silicone from previous repairs, I'm surprised I had any oil pressure actually.
The seal was what I am going to call the early or original type, it has a metal lip that hangs over the side of the filler blocks and the actual seal part looks like a canvas material. Some one had been here before, first clue was some dabs of blue silicone sealer, the second was the seal was installed backwards, although obviously warn out probably never did work too well from the start. From my research it appears this seal is discontinued, I could not find any and a new neoprene type of simpler design is used. The new style is much easier to install as it just fits into the filler block groove, you don't have to fight the extra friction of the metal lip on the outside of the block.
Ran it up and down the road for a while and after sitting for some time I see no signs of leaking, for now anyway. Pictured below is the new seal style on the left, old on the right. The two overhaul gasket kits I bought, from different companies, both had the new style seal, not sure of the time frame when it changed.
On the picture thing...its funny...on my laptop they load just fine...on my phone, never...
Is that the same issue for others?
I tried on both my phone and desktop and neither works. Not sure what has happened but I am also getting random server errors when I post responses. They both started happening at the same time.
Brute,
If it helps with troubleshooting.... The posts with pics embedded work and the ones with pics attached (you have to click to open) are not working.
Works (can see pics)

When ever I post a reply I get a server error message, been that way for a week or so. Pictures are working for me though.
Yeah, the both types of pics work for me on the laptop but not on the phone...weird...
Hammer is already looking into this and the database error when posting...that has been happening to me for a week plus too...
I can't see the pictures any more either. Bummer and hopefully only temporary.
Cannot see pictures here. If I right click for a new tab, I get a server error. If I post a response, I get the same server error, but the post does take.
Started applying the markings today, stars on front, back, doors and bridge weight on the door. Tried the hood star but had major fail with bubbles galore, needed a second hand and will have to be a do over.
Air cleaners. I did not have much to choose from the trucks I had, only one under hood that was in poor condition. I purchased a NOS under hood kit as I thought it looked more "Military". After installing it the first thing I noticed is that it was right in your face when trying to do anything under the hood, I quickly hated it. So I purchased a NOS first type air cleaner from Saturn Surplus, much cleaner and more room to work around.
No horn. So today I installed the new horn contact switch and no horn. I pulled the steering wheel, verified I had continuity with the contact ring and #25 wire at the horn, shows good. Next I pulled the white plastic bearing holder and I'm glad I did as the bearing was full of sandblasting sand and crunchy, flushed/cleaned and re greased the bearing and cleaned the contact ring and connection, re assembled. Then I figured out the horn is getting it's ground connection through the steering shaft, checked and no continuity from the steering shaft to ground. Determined that the rag joint connection was preventing ground so I pulled one of the rag joint bolts and the pinch bolt on the box side, cleaned them and added a ground strap between the two for a solid ground, horn fixed.
More decal work today, hood and tailgate finished, thanks for the help Dave.
I'm sure it looks great, but until the site gets fix no one can see the embedded pics. Maybe try linking some from a free image hosting site. I use Imgur.com to post all my pics here and it seems to work quite well.
Here is one from the other day.

I can see everyone's pictures with Firefox browser I'm using.
Front shock bushings. I replaced the front shock bushings today, found Energy Suspension 9.8113G polyurethane were a perfect match to the originals.

Purchased this decal from Midwest Military for the air cleaner mushroom, another detail finished.
Getting close man.. exciting
Thanks. Refurbished an early jack, disassembled, blasted, painted and lubricated and hopefully never to be used. Still on the hunt for an original lug wrench, found a substitute that is close until that time.
