Fantastic!! Put me down for a pair once you perfect the profile!
Not too bad... The material is harder than the original. But I don't see a problem with it. In addition, it is 0,75mm thicker than the original. But slips well ... The only difference is that they can only be made in 4-inch pieces... What do the Masters think? :)

Your paint mask set is all done and ready to ship. once I see your parts arrive from Memphis Equipment, I'll get it all boxed up and on it's way across the big pond.
Thank you beast. I can't wait :) While waiting ... printing

No one can claim that the door had no star and no bridge weight marking :)

Nice, that was how I found my original registration numbers. When bead blasted they had left an impression on the tailgate.

In the proper light you can clearly read the 3F 5836 and could see the position of the star.

For those who have a hard time seeing it in the above pics.

Body painted inside three times, now installing parts. Now I am thinking of driving and parade uniforms. Could someone tell me what kind of markings the uniforms should have. 194th Armored Brigade 2nd Division. 522nd Engineer Company. Does anyone know where to buy the original uniform?

Hallo M715 FIN,
Timken is Timken, were ever you buy the bearings. The bearing numbers are allways the same. Radial seals are also standart, CR radial seals are awailable in Europe since SKF bought CR several years ago. Try to buy tese parts at an Industry part supplier. The Tie Rod End Cover are available at Surplus City Jeep Parts, 4514 Pacific Heigths RD, Oroville, CA 95965, US for something like 1,95$ one each (http://originalmilitaryjeepparts.com/m715/M715.htm).
Greetings

Since 1980 owner of a M715.
Hello everybody. It has been a bit silent for this project. The problem was caused by an old invention. "MONEY". Every time you start repairing something ... Need to buy or order new parts: / I started to power the electricity ... Both of my light switches were broken, I split up both parts and were rusted completely, same was with windscreen wipers So now order more parts...
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=893
Is the light switch same as m38a1?
Hello,
Now I got a new light switch. Next, I'll ask you, what position the switch should work ... Headlights, parking light, which light is ser.light or B.O. drive etc? The reason why I ask you can see picture below. whiring was cut off when the car came to me. Are 1. the main power for the switches? 2. Disconnected cables for to tail lights? 3. Tail light wires
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=895
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=896
I think 1 is the wires for the horn...3 is the wires that go to the rear harness to run the tail lights/turn signals/stop lights in the rear.
The ones in 2 might be for the front lights but i cant tell from the pic...
What do you have on the firewall for the light system...the large distribution box or the small solid state unit....or something else?
Reference:
Large distribution box:
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/pages/man...t/convert2.jpg
small solid state unit:
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/pages/man...t/convert4.jpg
I have that smaller box (lower) I thought it was only turnsignal?
3. Goes back to the lights. The driver-side front mudguard of such a fuse. I thought the 1st would go for it? For the headlights, the wires are ok
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/picture.p...&pictureid=897
I agree with Brute, 1 looks like the wires for the horn and 3 is the harness splice to the rear of the vehicle. 2 is hard to tell from that pic but may be the blackout light wires.
Nothing now supplies electricity to the taillights. This is easy to the other side of the globe :)
This diagram from Ron will be a big help for you to use to follow where each wire goes. The numbers stamped on the metal tags will match the numbers on this diagram. http://www.m715zone.com/vb/pages/man...solidstate.pdf
In that pic that looks like a ballast resistor and is not stock on the M715.
does not have any fuses?
Ok. Thanks :)
Resolved so far.
SER DRIVE = Headlights on
SER DRIVE + PARK = park lights only
B.O. MARKER = blackout marker lights on
B.O. DRIVE = blackout light (hood)
Is my wiring and light switch connections correctly so far?
Hopefully this page helps you understand the 3 lever light switch and what works when:
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/view.php?pg=20chap2-17
And here is a wire diagragm I made of the cannon plug on the back of the 3 lever light switch and where each wire goes:
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/pages/man...cannonplug.jpg
There are more wire diagrams at the following link, including the one above, that document every wire in the stock early style harness:
http://www.m715zone.com/vb/view.php?pg=early_harness
Hope that helps...ask more if you need more though...glad to help!
The garage starts to be tight.

Finally I got more olive paint. Headlights all in place and connected :) Tail lights repaired and ready to install.
