Maybe just a tad over. Towed it 280 miles with my F-150 without any problems (minus a couple moments where the trailer was doing the driving).

Get that carpeting out of there and let that girl try out before it rots out.
It is what I used to tow mine from MD to FL. It went very well towing it with a 17' Ford U-Haul truck. Needless to say, I did NOT tell U-Haul what was going on the trailer. Actually, I told them it was my '96 Grande Cherokee...Quote:

Yeah, I told Uhaul I was towing a 67 CJ6 and used my 2016 F-150. The trailer actually handled it nicely, but a couple wind gusts made for a couple white knuckle moments.
And you're exactly right on the motor (that I think is gonna make its way to junkyard).
anyone tell me if I can hook up a 12 volt battery tender on the two 12 volt batteries of my 24 volt system on the M-715........she is gonna sit for about 3 months now.........thanks for any info out there...........
I would disconnect the batteries and charge them seperately. I think there was a long thread about that on here last year... don't remember the details but charging separately seemed to be the consensus.
