I could get used to that look...it really doesnt look bad on the M715 to me...if they all had the split, I wouldnt complain about it cosmetically.
But I would put in the 1 piece as it is correct and would have less to go wrong.

If body flex was an issue off-roading I wouldn't have a windshield anymore, ..I have been through the roughest sections of the rubicon without injury to the windshield. . .
I am going to venture a guess, that someone took two CJ windshields or the like, and cut them to the proper length to make two halves to fill the 715 frame.......to hide the seam, they just used a spare strip of gasket.
Oh yeah, and body flex won't be an issue. These trucks don't flex.
Thanks for all the info guys, I wasn't sure if the windshield changed through the years or something like that. I really do like the split look, I know where a old deuce is rotting in the woods maybe I'll go see what it's glass looks like, see if I can't rig up some pop out windows on my 715. I was only worried about the flex because I used to have a full size bronco, and when you went wheeling without the top on...man talk about body flex!! You could hear the roof and the doors popping in and out. My mind is at ease having you guys tell me that the glass won't break. Sorry "k8icu" the glass isn't important enough for me to give my truck up! Nice try though.
