OK OK. Ill update soon. Spent the winter in casts as I shattered my heel, shattered my ankle, and broke a bone in my foot. The truck has gone full hydro and one of the best things I have done.
Ive started playing around with the fueling as there is a lot less air up here compared to TN. I live at 5400' and wheel at 9-13000'…….. much different than 900'.
Here is a CT image of the ankle. Surgery wasn't an option as the pieces were too small for screws/surgery

I really gotta come check that out so I can get some motivation to get moving on mine! Want to show it off sat morning?
Long overdue.....
Only thing note worthy is the change to full hydraulic. Went with a PSC 2.75 x 8 DE ram. HD clevis steering kit. Mounted on a Blue Torch Fab mount. The high steer arms are artec and they are in double sheer. Steering valve is 11.cu in if I recall correctly.

And a bittersweet end to Jungle Rot.
I will be selling or parting out most of it (here first). As the wife and I start to expand the family, I am going to need something with four doors, well at least a back seat. I figure it will take a few years to figure out what we want and what will work for us.
If you are wanting to build a Cummins 715 and dont want/need a performance motor, want a different driveline and dont want NV4500, doubler, etc...... stay tuned or PM me.
What?? I would love to see you turn your two door cab into a four door cab. After all it would be for the children...... on the zone.:D
Some thought was given believe me. My heart isnt into a four door conversion. I went to Ouray and there was local guy who brought his crew cab J4000 he converted. A killer daily or tow rig no doubt. Already have a tow rig. I saw what was involved and what the wheelbase was. Need a bit better than a 3 state turning radius on the trails...... especially black bear in Ouray !!!!!!!
Kinda leaning to a commando or 2 door FSJ cherokee. Kinda hate to totally switch platforms since I have spent this much time with the FSJs and all their ummmmmm uh charm.
Yeah, I've seen that crew cab J series on line. Very long wheel base. If I ever do a 4 seater M715 I think it will be on a stock wheel base with a shortened bed, more like an extended cab than a true 4 door. A M series Cherokee would be very very cool.
