I added an auxillary light inside the lid of the fuel tank/toolbox. The idea was to provide a work light if I need to work on something in the bed at night. The light is bright enough to illuminate the ground 100 feet behind the truck too. It is an eliptical pattern. Light is a Vision X Solstice IIRC

Nice work. Wondering if you have made a relay panel and how that looks! The idea for toolbox light is awesome.

No relays. All the switches have thier own circuit breaker (button below each switch resets it). I run 12v to the panel and thats it.

hey bud. truck is looking great. the only thing i see that may give u a problem are the front shock hoops. bothends are on the same shear plane. after enough trail riding and/or working the truck, they are likely to fatigue & crack which may pull a chunk out of the side of the frame rail. u may want to consider coming down from the center with another tube to the top of the frame rail. this will add another area to carry the load. i would put a piece 2 in. angle on the top of the rail that runs down the inside of the frame & then weld the tube to that. then u will be pulling from the outside, inside, & the top. u will never break it. keep up the good work.

Wow - hell of a build! Nearly a year without an update though. Please say it hasn't disappeared. Would love to see this thing driving...
