so i fixed the fuel sending unit only to find that the gas tank reseal kit i used is crumbling into pieces in the tank clogging the fuel line making a huge mess....... which means im gonna need a tank and i see there $575 bucks now :mad: gggrreeaaatttttt..........
And that is exactly why my tank sits on the scrap metal pile here. I have a new stainless steel one in the truck. I decided to "bite the bullet" up front. I didn't want to revisit the problem. Maybe one of the members here has a spare that they are willing to part with?
Saw this write up for a 1993 bronco tank. It mounts in the rear opposed to the stock location. But should be pretty inexpensive option.

Also my truck when it came from the fire station just had a metal plate cube welded up in the stock location, not to pretty but functional.
