There may be a correlation between the days hetting longer and the weight that has been added.

I have that same idea for a rear winch mount, nice work. I can't wait to see video of this thing in action!
what are your plans for routing the cable? The only thing I keep thinking is it would be hard to rewind it and keep it evenly wound.
I have new bushings under the bed giving me abouta 1.5" bed lift. I and going to have a hawse fairled between the frame and bed. Rear cable in Amsteel. It will get mounted when the next batch of welding is done. Currently running electrical and hydraulics....well fuel too but thats fairly benign
