time will tell. it really isn't all that hard to get an eye on it kneeling down and looking into the kick panel area. i like the idea of putting it in the glove box, but i guess its to late now. hopefully it will never see water that high, and if it does i will have my fingers crossed. i will likely steal your idea when i swap to EFI in the future and put the ECM in the glove box or that area.Quote:

today i got the front lights all finished up and started working on the engine harness. although the quality of components seems as good as painless, the directions are very much less with the EZ wiring harness. thank goodness painless has a PDF file online for download. i wired in a maxifuse for the the main harness power as opposed to the provided "fusable link" provided.
also got the HEI and alternator circuits terminated.
