Due to this being a technical board, it would serve the site well if the posts remain technical and not BS. As you are experiencing problems, you'll be better served if members can rely on tech posts being submitted when reviewing this thread. This is a helpful suggestion.
While it's ultimately up to the Administrators, we've been giving foodstamp a bit of extra slack when it comes to what is posted here in his very own, multi-topic thread. But yes, generally we try to keep BS out of the tech forums.
the admins are freakin sweet!

im stuck on 2 things right now...
1. drive lines. i have shafts that i can shorten... but how should i do this, do i set it so that the yoke is in a 50% extention... i dont know if im saying this right, but the slide joint (i think) is 50% in 50% out. so when my axle cycles up and down the drive shaft dosent bottom out
2. seats... foam is spendy! should i cut up the seat in my chevy doner truck... i think we have a electric turky carver... and the foam is their and free, or should i just go buy some foam?
you will want to set the slip in the d-shaft to match the travel in your suspension. i.e. if you have 10 inches of total travel in the suspension, 6 inches of downtravel and 4 of up, then you will want 40% of the slip to be showing when you are at ride height. but you need to have plenty of spline engagment at the end of the downtravel. also you don't want to bottom the slip out either

LOOKING GREAT FOODSTAMP~!! Do your drivelines LAST. Get the rig done and at the weight you will be running. Put the junk in the rig you will always have in it and measure it then. Keep on truckin...:D:D:D
